Chapter 11 Brave New World notes

The director never went back to the fertilizing room because he was so embarrassed after what happen. Linda didn't want to see the society and also the society never wanted to see Linda. Linda returning to the world state was like returning to take holiday after holiday. Linda got what she wanted which was soma and as much as john try to convince Dr. Shaw that it wasn't right for Linda to take soma, john gave up. For the first time Bernard felt like an important guy by the way people treated him and he no longer heard about how his blood had alcohol and Bernard didn't felt judge of how he looks. In this chapter john repeated the pharase " o brave new world that has such people in it" when he saw identical twins in the fertilizing room. John refuses to take soma and he was so more attracted to his mother because each time, john go to visit his mother.
Lenina noticed that john love her but every time when she tries to talk with john, he  avoided her and he wouldn't even talked to her because each time he tried to avoid her.

Chapter 1 Brave New World

In brave new world people are been  designed to what role their going to play in the world. This sentence caught my attention "Not philosophers but fretsawyers and stamp collectors compose the backbone of society." The sentence caught my attention because it was saying that the society don't need thinkers but the people to do the small things. Also in chapter 1 page 14, a student asked a question but then he was yelled at and they answer him but the student was confused. In this book they don't want people to.adk questions, they just want to be able to do whatever they want. This sentence caught my attention, Mr. Foster said " If they could discover a technique for shortening the period of maturation what a triumph, what a veneration to society!
