The comparison of young good man brown to "dream within a dream"
The authors use different ways to make us think
of what's real and what's not real. First, in young good man brown the
author say that young good brown was never the same after the dream he had
and that
give us an idea that it was just a dream and it wasn’t real. In the poem “dream
within a dream” the author tell a story that the character need something real
to hold on to and that give us an idea that it is a dream. In young good man
brown the author tell the story as it is and he uses some sign to make us think
what might happen next, For example, the author used to say “pink ribbons”
repeatedly. second, the difference between the story of young good man brown and the "dream within a dream" was that in young good man brown, after the dream young
man brown had, he couldn’t trust anybody and he never realized that it was a
dream and in the "dream within a dream” the author tell a story about how the
person need something real to hold on to. Finally, in young good man brown the author tell the story, but he uses a lot of events to show that young good man brown had a dream and it wasn't real and in the "dream within a dream" the author tell the story in a short way and he also explained that it was a dream.
